Join us for a spring celebration you won't soon forget! 

 

Hundreds of eggs will be hidden in the lush pastures of Vintage Alpacas farm in Brooklyn Heights, and you & your children will be able to hunt for them amongst the farm's friendly & cuddly live ALPACAS!

 

Tickets are $22.50/per child + $7.50/per adult which includes:

  • Access to the private farm for this special event
  • Participation in the egg hunt
  • A candy + toy filled easter bag prize
  • A jumbo Easter M&M cookie for each child
  • Lemonade for adults + children

 

The egg hunt is open to children 10 & under and will be structured by color to ensure that all age groups have a fair chance to collect a bunch!  We ask that parents have each child collect no more than 20 eggs, so that it is fun + fair for all!

 

Ages 3 & under will hunt for pink & green eggs only.

Ages 4 - 6 will hunt for blue & orange eggs only.

Ages 7-10 will hunt for yellow & purple eggs only. 

 

There will also be a number of "special" jumbo eggs which are open to anyone to find + collect (one per family + not guaranteed) that will be filled with fun coupons to be redeemed at Little Birdie Wine Nest's Morning Owl Coffee Bar and egg-stra special prizes!  Even a few GOLDEN EGGS will be hidden (one per family + not guaranteed) which will be redeemed for Grand Prize Baskets!

 

*THE SMALL EGGS WILL BE EMPTY to protect the alpacas from eating any small foreign objects, chocolate, candies etc. We ask that you turn in your eggs after the hunt at the prize table, to redeem an Easter gift bag filled with all the treasures that would normally reside in the eggs! (This also makes sure that all participants recieve equal prizes as a base!) 

 

After the egg hunt concludes, we will enjoy jumbo M&M cookies + lemonade and there will be extra time for you & your family to explore the farm + spend time with the Alpacas!

  • Should I have received tickets in the mail?
    No. As soon as you purchased tickets, we put you onto our "Guest List", and you'll just need the name you registered under to gain entrance to the event!
     
    If I am bringing an infant - did they need a ticket?
    No. Infants in carriers who are not participating in the egg hunt do not need a ticket to gain entrance to the farm alongside their families. Please be advised that this working, private farm is not the most stroller friendly.  It can be done but - we recommend a carrier for our littlest visitors. 

    Does everyone in my party need a ticket, even if they are not participating in the egg hunt?

    *Excluding infants in carriers, every person in attendance needs a ticket, all children must be accompanied by an adult. Children older than 10 are not permitted to participate in the egg hunt, but can join their families at the $7.50 entrance rate to spend time with the Alpacas, and enjoy the refreshments.

    Where is this event being held?
    The event is being held at Vintage Alpacas Farm in Brooklyn Heights. 4933 Schaaf Lane Brooklyn Heights, OH 44131. Please come DIRECTLY to the farm. 
     
    What is the parking situation?
    There is ample parking at the farm on a gravel lot, and there will be helper's directing traffic as best as possible. We are politely asking that you carpool as much as possible to reduce the number of cars we need to park.
     
    When is the earliest I can arrive?
    We will be allowing access to the farm as early as 2:00pm, so that everyone will have adequate time to check in & get comfortable before the egg hunt begins promptly at 2:30pm. We ask that you stay behind the registration tables near the barn until we are ready to start the egg hunt.
     
    How will I check in?
    After you park, please head towards the large barn where our greeter will direct you to the check in table. We will be checking in you & your guests based on the FIRST NAME on your reservation.
     
    How will the egg hunt be conducted?

    - The egg hunt will begin at 2:30pm. Please make sure that you arrive with enough time to park & get through registration before the egg hunt begins. You may arrive to the farm as early as 2:00pm.

(This also ensures that all participants receive equal prizes as a base, and allows parents to check the bags to make sure that all prizes given are safe + appropriate for their individual child's needs!)

    - Please keep in mind that this is a family friendly event, and please be respectful of all other parents and children participating in the hunt.

    - After the egg hunt concludes, we will enjoy M&M cookies + lemonade and there will be extra time for you & your family to explore the farm + spend time with the Alpacas!

    What can/should I bring to this event?
    You are welcome to bring anything that you'd like to sit on to make yourself comfortable on the lawn - i.e. blankets, chairs, pillows etc. to relax on after the egg hunt with the Alpacas while you enjoy your cookies + lemonade. You are NOT permitted to bring any outside food or beverages, especially alcohol onto the farm.
     
    What if it rains?
    This event will be held rain (snow!) or shine. In the event of severely inclement weather, we would call each registered participant based on the phone number provided upon purchase and arrange for a refund or transfer to our alternate date. Beyond this circumstance, there are no refunds to this special event.
     
    What if I can't make it any longer?
    Tickets to this event are non-refundable, non-transferable to alternate dates, and not valid for store credit of any kind. You MAY transfer your ticket to someone else - just have them give your name upon check in.
     
    What should I wear?
    Please dress comfortably for the weather and venue, keeping in mind that this is a working farm and the alpacas will be all around, interacting with our guests. We highly recommend closed toed shoes, and wearing things you're okay getting a little dirty.
     
    Is there a restroom on the farm?
    YES. But, there is ONLY ONE, and it's a "barn restroom" - so it's not the "prettiest" - but we will direct you to it if you need to use it!
     
    Can I bring my pet / can I smoke?
    NO, and NO. No outside animals are permitted at this event, and there is no smoking or vaping permitted on the farm.
     
    What time does the event conclude?
    The event will conclude promptly at 4:00pm. Guests will not be permitted to stay on the farm past the ending of the event as this is a private facility.
