Chunky Knit Blanket Sip & Snuggle Workshop (1/12 @ 6pm)
IT'S BACK!  The Crafty Canary Creativity Corner's Chunky Knit Blanket "Sip & Snuggle" Workshop is THE coziest class ever! Join us at The Little Birdie Wine Nest for an evening of sipping sangria and "hand knitting" a gorgeous, adult sized chenille blanket!
 
In this 3-hour workshop, our lovely local artist instructor will teach you step-by-step how to knit your very own ultra soft blanket! No needles, or knitting experience required - you'll learn all the skills to create this Pinterest dream project during our class! You can also register for one of or perfectly packaged take home kits & enjoy this activity at your leisure!
 
Upon checkout please be sure to include your preferred color(s) for your blanket  - You will recieve 2 skeins of chunky yarn, so you can choose to do a solid color blanket, or 2-colored design!  

Your "all inclusive" ticket is just $65/pp and includes OVER 200 YARDS (204 to be exact!) of chunky ultra-soft chenille yarn in the colors of your choice, which will become a (roughly) 50 x 40in blanket (depending on how tight or loose your personal knitting preference is).  
 
Also included in the price of this class is a hanger for safe transport home, private, hands-on-instruction from our local artist to learn the skills necessary for hand knitting, AND a glass of our delicous sangria in your choice of red or white.  *Take home kits include supplies, beverage, plus written instructions for self-led guidance.
 
We have elongated the time for this class from our normal 2-hour session, to 3-hours to help ensure that you will be able to complete the majority of your project.  If you are newer to knitting/crocheting - Please be advised that you may not finish your entire blanket during the alloted class time, but don't worry - we will send you home with a hanger to thread through your loops so you don't lose your place - OR, you can always come back to the shop anytime to continue to work on it as well!

    • Q: Will I recieve my tickets in the mail? / Can this item be shipped?

      A: Nope! You won't recieve anything in the mail, and you do not need physical tickets to attend. As soon as you make your purchase  - you're either automatically added to our guest list for an in-studio reservation, or added to our list of take home kits to prepare for pick up based on your selection upon check-out.

      Q: When can I pick up my take home kit? 
      A: Take home kit purchases must be picked up at the scheduled date/time of the corresponding in-studio class, or thereafter during business hours.  We will hold your kit(s) for up to 3 business days after the class has concluded.  Beyond this three day mark, your kit will be discarded and you will not recieve a refund. 

      Q: Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
      A: While we do offer kid-friendly projects, this class is recommended for adults. We ask that all in-studio participants be 13+, and every person needing a seat, needs a ticket.  For children younger than 13, we recommend purchasing a take home kit! Juice can be substituted for those who are underage, or for non-drinkers. Valid ID will be required for alcohol consumption, and you must be 21+ to drink.

      Q: I have a large group, and would like to book a private event. How can I get more information on booking?
      A: For parties of 15+ you have the option to book a private class - at our venue, or yours! Please click the "Private Events" tab on our website to fill out the inquiry form provided. Our private events director will get back to you right away!

      Q: What is the parking situation at this venue?
      A: There is plenty of free parking in our plaza!

      Q: What should I bring into the event?
      A: Just your positive attitude and smile! These classes are meant to be fun and relaxing! Please do not bring any outside food or beverages into the facility.

      Q: What's the refund policy?

      A: No Refunds. Your ticket is valid for the specific date/event for which you purchase. If you are unable to attend the event for any reason - we are not able to issue refunds or transfer your ticket to alternate dates/events. Your ticket is not valid for store credit of any kind. You may transfer your ticket to a friend, just give us a call to let us know of the switch.

      Q: What is your current mask policy? What if we experience another mandatory COVID-19 shut down?

      A: We do ask that all in-studio participants wear a mask if they are not fully vaccinated. In the event of a mandatory shut down, all tickets will be converted into take home kits for contactless pick-up, and we will teach the workshop virtually via zoom for in-studio registrants. No refunds will be given.
