Have you ever wanted to learn about wine, but don't know where to start? We can totally relate, as wine can be a seemingly intimidating subject - but it doesn't have to be!
That's why we developed "Flight School" - a set of comprehensive introductory courses beginning with "WINE 101", and following with a series of more in depth workshops that will focus on specific regions, styles + entertaining tips!
This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about wine in a casual and fun environment in the company of great friends without any pressure or snobbery!
Your hosts - owner of Little Birdie Wine Nest & certified sommelier Robin Keenan, and charismatic wine industry professional Sean Cathcart of Skurnik Wines will share their experience to help you gain more in-depth knowledge of all aspects of wine through each 2 hour educational, interactive workshop which includes custom curated study materials written & developed by Robin!
You will also enjoy a 4 wine tasting expressive of the region or topic we are focusing on, an individual plate of paired cheese, charcuterie & snack items, and a full glass of your favorite wine from the tasting. Our full menu will also be available for purchase the night of the event.
Throughout this beginner's course, you will come to understand how wine is made, why different wines taste the way they do, why some are more regarded and higher priced than others, and various tricks of the trade for building your palate and your cellar as you learn about how the major grape varieties, wine regions and their "terroir" and the unique winemaking processes ultimately shape each wine’s character.
Maybe most importantly, you will be given the tools to become a better wine taster, get to know your own palate, and learn how to pair wine with food effortlessly!
Tickets are non-refundable once purchased, and sessions are exclusively limited to 24 guests. *If purchasing tickets separately, but joining with firends, please let us know in the comments section of your order whom you would like to be seated with so we can make an appropriate seating chart!

*All purchases are final. Should a mandate be issued suspending the ability for dine-in services due to covid-19, all reservations will be converted to to-go kits with contactless pick up and a zoom code for a virtual session.
