Shop Small & Support Local!
We are proud to be pioneering a new kind of fun in Parma, OH! The Little Birdie Wine Nest is a retail wine + tasting shop and gathering place for friends who love wine, coffee, crafts, yoga...and more!
We recently opened The Morning Owl Coffee Bar + Balancing Flamingo Yoga Lounge inside our space and are now offering a yummy coffee + local bakery menu as well as many weekly yoga classes and special events!
We put an emphasis on shopping small, and supporting local - by filling our store with handmade art + treasures, and supporting local artists by hosting pop-up "sip & create" craft classes in our inspiring space.
ABOUT THE OWNER
has been entwined in and in love with the fine dining restaurant industry since before she was old enough to consume the beverages that have now inspired her career.
She has had the pleasure of working for some of Cleveland's greatest - The Baricelli Inn, Dante, Rockefeller's and Red The Steakhouse. Throughout her restaurant journeys, wine was the constant force that propelled her forward and kept her thirst for knowledge quenched.
Earning her sommelier designation, she set her sights on starting her own business to reclaim her family life and spend more time with her pride & joy - her son Aiden! Addicted to caffeine, yoga and pinterest she wanted to combine her love for wine with her favorite hobbies and creative soul.
She aimed to open a space where people could come to learn about and taste wine, in a casual and fun environment. (Let's face it - wine can be an intimidating subject!) She wanted people to feel secure in that they don't need to know a lot about wine to be able to enjoy it!
Now, humbled doesn't even begin to describe how she feels about her dream becoming so much more over the last year - offering local coffee, yoga classes + a variety of sip & create events with local artists alongside her wine tastings and retail selection!
Robin chose to "land" in Parma, because it is her beloved hometown and it deserves to be spotlighted for the great neighborhood that it is. She is THRILLED at how the community and surrounding cities have supported her venture, and is excited to have expanded the business to now be able to service not only the wine-drinking community but coffee lovers, yogis, and families as well!
It's not just "what you're drinking" but rather who you drink it with and the memories you create together. Friends who become like family - that's what this business is all about.
